My mission for 2015 is to see if I can find more opportunities to sell my artwork. For the last 19 years, I was more interested in giving away my paintings to friends and local charity organizations than I was in turning a buck. The last couple of years, I've simply found it more and more financially challenging to continue on with this overly generous attitude... and so, I'm finally listening to all of my friends who have continuously told me to let people have a chance to buy my art and support my efforts.
To do this, I've been creating paintings and other art creations that don't take as much time... thus making them more affordable.

Just a few months ago, I went digging through a box of art supplies looking to see if I had some smaller, blank canvases available for me to use... and I found quite a few. These small 8" x 10" canvases were bought a few years ago for a children's art workshop that I was hoping to start, when something else happened and I had to abandon that path.
Several of the canvases already had images sketched out on them in preparation for those classes and so, instead of erasing the images I decided to paint them. Symbols in Space is the result.
