The Byron Villager Community Magazine

This ‘Be The Change’ section of my website was designed to share stories about events that I have gotten involved in, to inspire readers – like you – to realize just how easy it is to make a positive difference in the world.  Most of the stories in this section are about actual events.  This page, however, is about a different sort of ‘action’…

For close to five years, I had been a regular blogger, sharing inspirational stories about my art and my life with the world.

(This is a link that will take you to that blog where you will
find several hundred interesting stories.)
Enjoy!

Blogging was a fairly new form of expression for me and I was continuously looking for ways to get more readers to know about it.  I had once calculated that I was getting between 30 to 50 people reading my stories.

I was happy with these results… but I’m even happier now, realizing that my latest efforts are receiving a local audience of close to 7 000 readers… each month!

I met Barb Botten – the owner of a new community magazine called The Byron Villager – last August at a community meeting.  She shared with the group the fact that she was creating a new community magazine and the first issue was already at the printers getting ready for distribution.  I thought that this was great and I asked her if I could get involved.  Barb said, “Yes!”

Since that time, I have written many stories about people and events that are happening here in Byron.  I always find a way to share my ‘environmental’ message within these stories with the intent of inspiring my readers to ‘Be The Change’.

Here are a few samples for you to enjoy…

I’m extremely grateful for having these opportunities to inspire so many people and I will look forward to sharing several more stories in a few more months.
